I love that C.P.R. Jubilee. Three years to build? Your work is amazing, it is a lot to take in.

I can't put into words how impressive that is, so I will just say "WOW"!

Wow! The whole page it the work of the OP! Amazing! I only looked at a few pictures but the amount of stuff the OP has built is absolutely insane! I hope the OP will stick around and keep sharing his excellent work!

I never had great success modelling with wood, and eventually gave up on it.
However....
Some model! Some modelling!!!
Beautiful work, Martin...not only a craftsman, but an artist, too!

Hi Martin!
Welcome to the forums!!
I have only taken the time to look through the first of the articles and your work is amazing!! I'll spend more time looking at your other work soon.

I'm just a dude with a bad back having a lot of fun with model trains, and finally building a layout!

You speak several more languages than most 'meircans, so don't worry about it. I saw 3 posts from an American on another forum and it needed subtitles for all the misspellings and words run together.
Posting pics in this forum is tricky. There is a permanent post (sticky) in the general forum. I don't know quite how Ulrich picked out the pic from the links you posted. Generally it has to have a picture extension like .jpg and be posted somewhere on the internet, where you don't need to log in to see it.
Welcome, Martin from Switzerland. I love Switzerland. I met a girl from Switzerland in New Zealand once and we would go back and forth visiting each other and would also meet at various locals around the world and vacation together. She was and probably still is gorgeous.
Looking forward to seeing your work.
A big . I may be wrong, but you are the first Swiss member I see here!
Just to show what you are talking about - I take the liberty of inserting a picture from the link you provide.
I guess the following is HO scale.
Marvellous detail!
Happy times!
