Would anyone know what these parts are for?

A quick email to Rapido wouldn't hurt.

What do the parts look like (photo?) Rapido says some containers come with heaters and fuel tanks. Could these possibly be what you are refering to?

More details would be helpful.

Good Luck, Ed

Apparently they are grab irons to be installed by the hobbyist, much like many of the Walthers Gold line rolling stock, which also came with grab irons to be separately applied.

I believe these well cars were sold as a part of a lower-cost line of products Rapido was trying out called Prime Mover.  Rapido has since discovered there isn't much demand for a lower-cost line of products and sounds like they will concentrate on higher end more detailed products going forward.
