I usually find a few freight cars to buy from the North Shore club at each Wilmington, MA show.

That looks like a good time.

I am going to the Atlanta Train Show next weekend. I am looking very forward to it.

Living the dream.
It's been a while, so I fired up the Buick and drove down to the Concord NH train show. It opened at 10 AM, and there was quite a line to get in.
In side was pretty big. Full of working layouts and vendors tables.
I ran into old friends from the North Shore club, they make every show for 50 miles around Boston. Lots of used and really used rolling stock and structures. I saw a Mantua logging mallet, only $70. If I didn't have two project steamers in the shop, waiting for work, I would have bought it. They still have decent used freight cars for $5. But they also have plenty of brand new in boxes stuff going for $50 a pop.
This is all I bought, a couple of Accurail box cars and a structure. The structure needs a decent paint job, the box cars are ready to run. My feet got tired after three hours so I went home.
