Locomotive repair, Shays Drive line beveled gears

I am looking for NWSL # 2800-6 gears for the Bachmann Spectrum 3 Truck Shays. I understand that NWSL has closed its doors. Anyone know where these gears might be available ?

The Bach-Man at the Bachmann forums says they have replacement gears. Have you looked there just in case you do not find the NWSL gears? I know, a shot in the dark.

If you ever fall over in public, pick yourself up and say “sorry it’s been a while since I inhabited a body.” And just walk away.

You could also contact the Shay Fixer. He is repairing the Bachmann Shay. Check his page. I saw it.

I would check swap-meets if there are any in your area. Many of the vendors at the ones I attend often have after market parts available, even parts that aren't in production any more. Another option would be a local hobby shop if there are any around. And of course, there's always ebay.

When I needed replacement gears a couple of years ago, they were still available from Bachmann.

I have a new unused set of those gears available. Original packaging. Let me know if you are interested.

Is this what the OP needs?

Thanks! I have not posted in awhile and have replaced my Bachmann Shays with #2800-6 NWSL metal gears. They are again available from the new owners of NWSL.

Now I am looking to find out bevel gears for the On30 version of the Bachmann Shays. If anyone has info on these?
