Looking for Alaska RR loco in N-scale.

Does anyone know of any manufacturer that has Alaska RR diesel locos in N-scale? I'm not looking for any specific type of loco, it just has to be diesel and has the Alaska road name. Thanks.

Check out Bachmann, I have their HO Mc Kinley Explorer set, so they might also have N gauge.

Ugh! Took a look and they do have a GP-40 with the Alaska roadname but it's their "Standard" line. Was hoping they have it in the Spectrum line for a little more quality.

Yes, I was disappointed too. Alaska does not have that much in the way of locos, I have been up there and rode the rails, the White pass RR has a couple of engines. But I don't know about vendors carrying much for AK,

There is currently a Kato SD70 MAC on Ebay. New in box. Item number: 5947149922. There is also a Bachmann GP40, Item number: 5947692018. Just put the item # in the search box on the home page of Ebay and it will take you right to it.

This is by no means an endorsement, but I have made purchases from both of those sellers and have been very pleased.

By the way, my wife has some Bachmann standard locos, and for the money, they run pretty darn nice. (She also models Alaska and has 4 Bachmann F9's and 6 or 8 McKinley Explorer cars).

You might try a hobby shop in Anchorage that I used to frequent when I lived there. They used to have a large supply of custom painted HO trains and might have N scale as well.

GATCO, in Boulder City, NV, has a dozen or so Kato SD70MACs, Alaska #4001 & 4014. He may have one up on Ebay right now...

Here's his e-mail, just remove the BLAHBLAH.
