Getting back into photo uploads ............
Posted by mobilman44 on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 8:37 AM

It's been years since I uploaded pics to the forum, as I had problems with Photobucket - even before its severe changes.

With the recommendation of a knowledgeable forum member, I opened an account with Imgbb.com, and will attempt to post the first pic on this thread.

I have no clue if this will work or not, so here goes!

Well, it kind of worked.......if you click on the link you will get the photo, but obviously it didn't appear on the post itself.

I'll reread Mr. Otte's post on the subject and maybe will get it to work......

THANK YOU to Rich & Mr. Otte!

OK, the pic is of the back end of my loco terminal on an 11x15 HO layout with a lower level 6 track staging area.

It is the late '50s somewhere in the lower midwest, a place dominated by the ATSF but with trackage rights given to the Illinois Central.  The operating system is Digitrax, the track is all Atlas code 100, with mainline turnouts being #8, "sub mains" #6, and yard tracks #4.

The main level is zero grade, but the access to the below level staging is 2 percent.

Looking forward to sharing some more!

ENJOY  !

Nice photo and nice work, Mobilman!

Now, if I can do the same. I, like you, have had problems posting pictures on this forum and haven't posted a picture in years because of it. When I get the time I'll play with it a little to see if I can have some success with it.
