Thank you both,Gents.This one just had the side nubs,the body came off easy.
It must have the Kato motor as it runs very quiet and smooth.

depending on the production run ( if this one has the Kato motor ) As well as the "nubs" there were smallscrews ( 2-56 )in front of the fuel tank ( looking at bottom of engine ) that you will have to remove as well. I had two of the earlier kato powered ones and one just had nubs and one had nubs and screws.
Thanks for that Graham,I'll give it a go when I get round to dismantling it for a repaint.
It's been a while, but I seem to remember nubs on either side of the frame snapping into the shell below the walkways, and a very tight fit around the (removable) coupler boxes at the end.
I have an old one of these-anyone know how to take off the body,before I do serious damage!
