My wife painted the wall light blue half way up, and then painted the clouds on it and paints a little extra color on above the hills and ground area. She is the scenery expert here. It really looks good when she gets done.My wall is light tan too, But she says it focuses your eyes to the layout when only painted blue half way up.

Should I paint the entire wall light blue and then cut out pictures for the scenery.

Thanks,
Greg

Your question has a simple answer. Do what you think you would like the best. Myself I would paint it light to medium blue. Then you can add the paper pictures you like or paint it yourself. I painted mine and put clouds on it and have the paper pictures where I want them that I took of the real scenery of my area and enlarged them to scale and painted trees and land to fill in the extra spaces.

What is the best way to add a background to your layout? My wall is a light tan, should it be light blue? or just paint light blue half way up the wall or add those background poster rolls to the background of the layout.

Thanks in advance,
Greg
