Folks on the sister forum focused on 3-Rail O Gauge might have ideas:

Electricity is electricity. In a word - this is not suitable The relay contacts are only rated for 3 amps according to the specs.

The 10 relay version has heavier duty relays and would work - if you need more than 10 circuits. And also kind of ouch at the price, but if you want to control the trains from a web browser, this is one way to go, and it's all made for you, no DIY work.

If you just want to turn power on and off to tracks or accessories, some simple toggle switches would be MUCH cheaper.

You might want to post this thread on the Toy Train Forum as more people on that forum are familiar with AC powered trains and AC power systems.

Webrelay Quad for block power control.
Posted by Dd289 on Saturday, April 20, 2019 1:45 PM

I was looking to use a Webrelay Quad to control a mainline and siding blocks for conventional lionel engines.  I am seeing different things with the voltage and amperage for the relay switches.  Would this be a safe option as an on/off switch for the blocks.

Using a zw-80 and

Thank you in advance to anyone who can help.
