Posted by tbdanny on Sunday, April 14, 2019 3:12 PM

I've just finished my latest On30 scratchbuild, of a 4-6-4 tank engine.  Here's a video showing how I did it:

The Location: Forests of the Pacific Northwest, Oregon
The Year: 1948
The Scale: On30

That is really good.

.

When I see 4-6-4 I think high speed passenger trains. This was completely different.

.

Great job overcoming the problems you had during assembly and testing. I have never had a project go perfect from beginning to end, and it is good to see others need to figure out diffculties like I do.

.

The slide show style of the presentation was fine for me.

Another interesting build! Nicely done.

By the way, It's very comforting to know that you make mistakes too!Smile, Wink & GrinLaughLaugh

Very nicely done, and inspired by one of my favourite prototypes, too!

On30 is something I have been really gaining an interest in.   I have found little infomation so far on scratchbuilding engines from an HO chassis so this was really informative for me to see.  I checked out your blog from your signature and it looks like there is bunch of other info on it I may enjoy.  Thank you for posting this.
