I thought it was from Design Preservation Models, but I don't think so. Does anyone recognize this kit and its maker? https://www.ebay.com/itm/333134195469?_trksid=p2471758.m4704
Thanks!

Stan,
If you scroll down the page it says Sylvan. The Sylvan Models I know makes resin kits. It does look like a DPM kit...or, perhaps Walthers.

Time...It marches on...without ever turning around to see if anyone is even keeping in step.
Here's a list of manufacturers you can check out, if you don't think it's Sylvan.
I think some of have gone out business.

Sylvan (I'd thought of them as a vehicle and boat model maker, but I see now they have a nice variety of structures) does have a similar corner structure, but with a curved cornice or whatever you call it over the corner door, rather than the hard-angled peaked one in the photo you linked.

My experience with resin kits is limited and not entirely happy. I learned that a rinse in soapy hot water to remove the mold release stuff is not enough. I couldn't glue or paint the darn thing! In other words it isn't like washing dishes - it needs more elbow grease than that. (Maybe what I really learned is that I don't do a very good job of washing dishes either).

Sylvan recommends washing their kit pieces in a solvent that they market for the purpose. I'm working on a small vehicle kit (and a Funaro Camerlengo gondola) and I washed the parts with Xylene. It worked well for me. DO wash it in dish wash detergent and water prior to painting though.
It appears to be 2 L shaped buildings put together. The bottom 2 floors are kitbached onto the structure, most likley to make the structure taller. The mansurd type roof was kitbashed with all the windows on it added. Looking close some things just didn't fit together. It is still a interesting model. The original was most likley Faller, Helgan, or mabe Jouef. I have a couple of them, and there is no brand name on there bottom plate as many buildings do have. I just stand them together forming a C like this one is. The round top windows like the one in my picture makes this one incorrect.

It's been determined who's kit it is. Scroll up a few post and see the link to Main Street Hobbies.
