Thanks Mike!
What a coincidence! I had placed the tracks exactly 3" apart where the refueling station will likely go.

Dave, I have this kit, unopened (not anymore ) and it's 3" center to center.

I hacked mine up, too. I looked for the pieces and found everything but the center platform .
The fuel cranes supplied in the Walthers kit look more like they belong on a Lego layout. The American Limited Snyder cranes look much better, IMHO.

If I find the other platform sections I'll report back. I ended up not using any of the Walthers kit except the little shed.
Good Luck, Ed
Hi,
I linked two of these (lengthwise) together for my layout, and track spacing was not a real consideration in my situation as I installed the tracks around the center section. As best I can tell, the center section is 1 3/4 inch wide.

Hi gang,
We are looking for a diesel refueling facility for the club's layout. Walthers #933-2908 looks interesting, but does anyone know how far apart the tracks are? The footprint PDF doesn't specify.
I guess the platform could be modified to change the distance between the tracks, but it would be nice to be able to use it as supplied.
Thanks
