Does anyone know if there is information available on how the valence was constructed on MRR Winston-Salem Tar Branch? There are some videos available about certain sections of the layout build process but not particularly about this

MRVP VIDEO

If you aren't a subscriber, it was a Hampton Bay track lighting.

Cliff's note version, a 1x3 behind the top of the masonite, to which he attached another 1x3 that had the edge cut 45 degrees so it would lean in toward the front of layout.  The track was attached to that.

Vertical 1x2 boards sandwiched between 1x2 plywood and attached somewhere down low in the back, to benchwork.

Plywood is shaped like an upside down 'L', at the front of the layout is another vertical piece of 1x2  to which, the front piece of masonite is attached.
