Past freight car models by www.rapidotrains.com

Note: Cabooses in Canada are also referred to as "vans".

Just wondering which is better in your opinion in caboose between the two?.

I would not have any personal interest in either of the cabeese, but I do always have curiosity about what folks are talking about in the forum.

Do you have links to what these models look like so that I don't have to track down on the net amongst all the 473 caboose models available to guess which two you are comparing????????????

I was just thinking about the quality and detail between the two both look pretty good even great what do you guys think?

Yes, they're both really good.

But as noted, they're both completely different cabooses.

The Rapido steel caboose is a Canadian Pacific cabose. They also offered it in a number of stand-in American schemes to sell a bit more, and a few other Canadian schemes that are actually accurate, representing ex-CP cabooses acquired secondhand.

The True Line steel caboose is a Canadian National caboose. They also offered it in a number of other Canadian schemes that are actually accurate, representing ex-CN cabooses acquired secondhand.

True Line also did two different wood cabooses in both CN and CP designs.

Funaro Camerlengo has it in a resin kit. Get your hands dirty! I just built a F&C gondola. I found it to be a rewarding experience.

Disappointed that they never came through with the NYC/Rutland wood cabooses. No  And, although the website is still up, I don't think they've really done much in the past 3-4 years - if anything.

I buy one of each when a question like this comes up.

Neither made the same caboose, so your question is rather moot.
