I was surprised at how quiet the motor and gears ran when I put that little unit together! The shell actually has a series of latches that prevent the frame from flexing, so it's not causing any problems.

Interesting project! The quietness of the drive train is amazing. Are you going to screw the shell to the chassis so that it can't flex? That part gave me pause.

Here's what I've been working on for the past couple weeks!  With the assistance of Hobbytown and a broken CD drive, I've fully motorized a Dapol/Kitmaster Deltic kit!

Make sure you're drinking a good cup of tea while watching.Big Smile I've been getting into orange spice tea myself.
