That would make a nice train!  A Baldwin 2-8-2. 

There are lots of steam guys in here, but one thing that might help you more.

Since you said you want to model it in "O" gauge, it would be helpfull to you to check out another Trains.com site, Classic Toy Trains.

Check out the forum in there, and I think you might get a better response as to what is availiable in "O" gauge equipment.

Hold you mouse over Community, and look for the forums.

Need help recreating Local Train

I live in Greenwood sc 29646. we have a railroad historical society www.greenwoodrrmuseum.com. I shows (if you look at the link) that has Pullman #5 cars and Erie American liberty, and erie-lackwanna dinner,piedmont northern, and a Baldwin steam engine#19 and tender. Would love to recreate this as an o guage set to put in the museum. Any suggestions on what engines and cars to use?
