I'll take a crack at this since pics seem to be posting for me now. First up, I rebuilt my hovercraft with an open cockpit and added a cargo platform. It's a work in progress, so I'll add some brabs, etc after it dries over night. Here it is now:

Meanwhile, I got the bulk of the grabs installed on my group of 4 3000-series boxcars.
At the loco shop, I finished up #7. Here it's posed by a K-27 to show the dramatic difference in sizes in the same scale.

On Tuesday, instead of working on my layout segment I completed a boxcar for Weekend Photo Fun. This one is an older boxcar that was conveted into a meat reefer for the NEW RIVER AND SOUTHERN.
The kit is by Funaro and Camerlengo. I do not remember the prototype, but I thought the history of the freight car in the instructions was interesting.
I remember the instructions said the big brass hinges on the prototype were a distinctive feature, so I addded them to this model.

well, I joined the club of those who do multiple scales, I started N scale in T Trak. I am also the new co chair for the NMRA division 2 MCR T Trak group. Here's my efforts.
Yes, I managed to wire it up, and it runs well. It was my first project to learn how to solder wire to rail.
ive also started an HO scale project...
Its an Ex-BLE, Ex ex Rock Island hopper car. There are a dozen or so of these still in use by their new owner-The Wheeling and Lake Erie railway. I had to mix up the "Bankruptcy Blue" for the car.

I have had no problem with the Scale Trains cars, have not changed out the couplers as they are running as a unit train with other PC/PRR/NYC covered hoppers at this time.
Our club has removed all the Kadee Magnetic Ramps and use pointed skewers for uncoupling now, so it won't be a problem if used in operations.
By the way nice work on your cars and joining the multi-scale club.
Gary, another great picture of your CB&Q layout, our club now now has a new member who is a CB&Q purist for the late 50's and early 60's era. We have had great discussions on car models and detailing.
This week I finished three G scale baggage carts which I had planned for the LL Bean Christmas layout that Boothbay Railway Village built. They finaly after 10 months wait, but too late for the Christmas display. They will be on the G scale loop at BRV this summer, and at LLB later

The 1950 Caddy from Busch must have been very old production. The grill, bumpers and other chrome work were cast in grey plastic which I painted

Wow! From Jimmy's N scale to Mike's very small HO,to George's G projects - you guys are covering all bases this week. Nice to see Rick getting back into production,too.
I spoke too soon last week,when I said the K-28 was running great - a few trips around the layout revealed an intermittent short,and the power/motor leads between the engine/tender were binding - causing derailments. A little work with the Dremel solved everything.

The new Black River Station/Depot is nearly done. Here are a couple of views of it on the layout: The south/east side/Mainline track side.

I FINALLY finished my pellet hopper cars. Too cheap to buy the 65'ers, so I repurposed some 55' cars I had.
Now on to a sting of spine cars I started early last year!

Rick, Sorry, these are the last 4 3000-series cars I ever plan to assemble. I'm having to use my magnifier eye loupe to do these - and I suspect it's not going to get any better. Looks like you're having some fun with those SG kits.
Jimmy, I wonder if your dad's #20 is the same as Ulrich's? He posted a pic and video of his in my remotor thread. T-track has me intrigued, also, as we're going to have a display T-track set-up at our Lincoln Square Train Show here on March 30-31.

Peter, I couldn't remember what I was thinking of as background when I did the hovercraft, but thanks for reminding me of that memory. That's where the idea came from! And that's an outstanding pic of some fine modeling!

My grandson's Santa Fe 4-8-4 #3761 is back from the maker and running great! Here it is rounding Pasture Curve with a short consist of heavyweight cars.

It's funny what shows up in a yard these days. None of the crews admit to knowing where the pallet came from.
OK, decided to try and build some HO scale wood pallets for some detail parts in various areas. Used some scrap wood to build some 48"x40" pallets and yes, this one has a broken slat. Perfection is not the objective, but a little more R & D in progress.
