I think the app is available on Android as well as IOS. While it certainly has shortcomings (mainly, it lists the magazines in reverse order, so to get to an issue from 1954 you have to scroll, and scroll, and scroll, and .... ) but, it has never stopped working, I guess that uses a different provider than whoever they use for the web based access version.

Well, like I said earlier, try going there and NOT logging in to the MR forums.  That's about the only way I can get in.

I paid for a year, and it's up in March.

I have also been unable to get to the archives for a while.  It's fustrating, because I recycled all my old MRs a year ago.  That was a bunch too.  I had them all the way back to around 1974!

With the Archive, I thought that I would have ready access to all those back issues without having to store them.  It has been a constant headache.  I think that I have now paid for more error time than up time.  And, I've paid ahead for 3 years!  Not a good value.

Notice the page title when you have the error page displayed? It says Discover Magazine. With the MRR logo.

Since this thread will get locked and.or deleted (since no one on the forum can actually do anythign about these issues) I will just sya that if my company was doing the IT work here, we would have been fired months ago for causing this many problems. ANd rightfully so. Still waiting for Ziono to show my copy of MRP 2019, happened to see it at the grocery store tonight. Never had a problem getting my issues to show up, even recently - although they always show up in the archive app before they show up on Zinio. Funny thing is, the archive app works fine on my iPad.

Archive has been a gong show for quite some time. For me it works fine via my laptop, but on iPad I get the unexpected error message—with the complete BS “we’ve sent a message to our developers” or whatever response. And yes I’ve disabled/enabled every combination of iPad/safari settings. Glitches happen, for a few days. That’s just technology. As long as this has been going on is inexcusable. Or at the very least embarrassing.

Lately I have gotten nothing but the error message.  By "lately" I mean about the last month and a half or so.

And I am also about a month and a half into waiting for customer (air quote) service (end air quote) to get back to me about MRVP, which at one time I had but then suddenly did not have.  They just stopped charging me for it.  Kalmbach must be swimming in money; they don't seem eager to get mine.

Welcome Julian.  There have been tons of issues with the web site the last few months, so from what I understand, and what does work for me, is to go to the archives without logging in.

Supposedly, they (the web site administartors, or whoever) have "opened" up the archives for eveyone, because of on going web site issues.

So try and view the archives without logging in and see if that works any better.

I know it works for me, and I'm a subscriber, as I PAY for my magazine subscription and I PAY for the digital archives.

Who knows when things will be "fixed" for good.

Mike.

Hi folks, brand new to the site to please forgive me if I've missed a trick here!

I'm trying to view the "All-Time Digital Archive" that is part of the subscription and managed to do this last night (GMT) but as of today I'm getting a "Unexpected Error" message.

Is anyone else having this issue? :)

Regards,

Julian
