Putting a decoder in Overland GP-40-2s or B-30-7s

Has anyone put a decoder in an Overland B-30-7 (released last year) or an Overland GP-40-2 (released a few months ago)? If so, were there any major problems? Are the motors already isolated from the frame? Whose decoder did you use? Any help would be appreciated.

If it has an X in it, it sucks! And yes, I just had my modeler's license renewed last week!

I doubt they are any different from the last batch of Overland's I converted. I have converted about 20 units and have had no trouble at all from SD90/43MAC's, AC4400's to MP15's. There are plenty of places to hide the decoder and sound in those shell's too! :> I also use the light packages included in the units since they use 12v DC. I just hook the blue wire to one side of the unit and the front light, white wire to the other side. So far every light unit has worked. I plan on trying to hook both the white and yellow to one side one of these days to see if that works. If it doesn't no biggie, they are easy to re-light with DCC anyway. :> I use the Digitrax DH163AT or the NCE equivelent since I like both of these decoders. It's really a straight-forward conversion.

Thanks for the info. I'll give it a shot in two weeks (after my decoders arrive).
