Last year we had a thread about new Christmas Ornaments we had for out trees.
.
Let's do it again this year!
I will start, but mine is boring. I bought this ornament at Wal-Mart.
What have you added to the decorations for 2018?

Living the dream.
For many years I'd buy the annual Hallmark "Lionel" ornaments, until I got enough to fill up a small all-train "Charlie Brown" tree. Some of them are actually pretty nice small scale models. Others capture the semi-scale look of the actual Lionel original. I didn't buy to collect so it isn't a complete set - I'd only buy if I thought it looked neat.
The 2018 ornaments are an A and B set of "Texas Special" F units and an observation car. I have not decided whether to purchase or not. Hallmark wised up a few years back - they used to have a huge production and sell 'em off cheap come January. Now they're often sold out by now.

For the first time ever I had to go get the tree all by myself. Then I had to decorate it all by myself, all 9-1/2' of it. So, as a result, everything "train" is on the front and everything "Golden Retriever" is on the back. No one has even noticed yet. They must really be busy.
My Sister usually gets me a train ornament every year for Christmas and I have amassed a good selection. Can't remember what one she got me last year.

No new Christmas ornaments this year Kevin. I wish to be a participant to your thread though. Does last years count
The tree downstairs in the "man cave" is completely decorated with Lionel ornaments. Every year our city (Danville VA) does an ornament that they sell at the community light show that our club sets up a lionel layout at. This year they had a train on a bridge on it which of course I bought. Ironicly we are known for the "wreck of the old 97." on the bridge over the Dan River. Jim
PLEASE let me know if you can't see my photos, as I am trying a new method(google drive). There should be three photos, they may take some time to load. The Plattsburgh D&H depot, the Lionel streamliner, and thomas and percy.

PS I have that same Hallmark/Lionel UP streamliner ornament.
I've got the entire Hallmark Lionel ornament collection on my tree.

And I'm using FireFox, and I see your 3 photos, but not seeing what Dave Nelson sees. This place as gone crazy, I could write a long paragraph about what problems I've been having, including the digital archives, and I'm sure many other members could say the same.

I wonder if we aren't seeing the early effects of the repeal of Net neutrality regulations? I'm having troubles across several sites, not just MR. Things have been getting gradually worse and today was the worst ever for having site access issues.
Good Luck, Ed
I have a few Hallmark train ornaments from when my older sister what huge into them. But my Star Trek ornaments far out number them.

No. The picture shows the good part.
It was pulled by a pair of BNSF locomotives, and had an enclosed autorack on the rear with an End Of Train device on it.
This is a picture I made last year of a hopper car loaded with ornaments:

Got this one Jim? I have a sister that buys me Star Trek and train ornaments every year. It has become a tradition for her.
Yes Brent, the shuttle craft was the 2nd year Star Trek ornament. I bought two of the first year Enterprises; at one time they were selling for over $200 on eBay but I haven't looked in years. I collected 7 or 8 years in a row before losing interest but still have them including that shuttle craft! I'm a trekky from way back; watched many of the original series episodes when first aired as a kid in the 60s.

That was the only night Dad let me stay up past bedtime when I was a kid. Mom was choir director at the church and that was practice night for her. Dad and I watched together, never missed it. It was B&W for us at the time.
B&w as well for me too. No color TV until around 1974.

I actually had an Atari 2600 before we had a color television set.
