The link to the MR Webcam is gone. That's one way to deal with the problem.

I really enjoy MRVP, for the most part.
Ask MRVP, Rehab My Railroad, Drew's Trackside Adventures, and the Olympia "Log Blog" are all very enjoyable, along with Charlie somebody-or-other's (apologies) Postcards series and pretty much anything by Gerry Leone. I also really enjoy the Canadian Canyons series, but it's beginning to get rather long in the tooth.
I don't watch the toy train series, but toy trains are part of the hobby. I don't begrudge the producers for my lack of interest there.
For me, MRVP is a bargain. For some folks, maybe not so much.

There's hundreds of hours of video in MRVP. I wish I had the time and money to watch, as there is lots I would like to see. But if you've seen it all and want more, there are other channels out there. That's why, even back in the day when there were just 3 over-the-air stations, there was a channel selector. Not every program appeals to every taste, even when it's focused as closely on a topic/hobby/story like MRVP is. Sounds like one heck of a TV habit, though, if you've already seen it all? Maybe time to get back to the layout and apply some of what you see?

The Webcam has nothing to do with yout MRVP subscription. When it works, it is just a curiousity, it doesn't show anything of detail. David or Cody are wearing an apron and leaning over the layout doing something you can't see, or Jenny is photographing something, or you are just looking at the photo light setup.
I find the visual demonstration of techniques more useful than reading about them. The videos generally precede the magazine articles. They no longer number the Canadian Canyon episodes, having stopped the numbering around #30. For production reasons, i.e., they can't build a new layout every 3 months, I understand the episodes trickle out rather than putting them out in real time.
Cody's workshop, ask MRVP and Drews Trackside Adventures are all enjoyable. I'm not really interested in O scale, but that's part of the hobby.
I don't find your proposition, there is little new content, true, but it's your money. If you don't find value then spend your money somewhere else.
MRVP posts on average 3 to 5 new videos a week, on top of the more than 1,000 videos already available on the site. And two Canadian Canyons videos have gone up in the last two weeks.

Is anyone else dissatisfied with the lack of content that is provided by their subscription to MR VideoPlus? I subscribed to the service with the hope of getting monthly content that I could use to build my model railroad. The new content is few and far between. Most of the stuff I see is covered in the magazine with little new content. The web cam has been inactive for over a month and there is no information as to why it is not working. I was really looking forward to follow up videos on the Canadian Canyons layout as I am attempting ot create a similar mountain layout with DCC controls of trains, turnouts, and signals. There has been no followup videos.
I am concerned that there is little available to fund additional content. Am I missing something. Please let me know why I should continue my subscription.
