Sumthin tells me you guys are intentionally derailing your equipment just to get your pics on this thread.

Mike, Never too late to join in!
.
That passenger car sure looks like a fun build.
See you next week.

Living the dream.
I'm late to the party, good thing they gave us an extra hour this weekend to catch up. I started building the second half of a Westwood HOn3 Sumpter Valley passenger car kit. I chose to build a shorty RPO/express kit. I decided to add the sheet steel reinforcements on the lower part of the sides as installed on most Colorado-based RPOs.

Wow, not a lot of new work this week. I hope that means everyone is happy and spending time on other things before the weather gets too rough.
Actually down here, the weather is just getting nice. It was in the mid-high 70s today. The four-five months of paradise is about to begin.
Bear: Thank you for the awesome Bear-Toon!
Everyone: Thank you for sharing more "blooper" pictures.
I spent Saturday in Tampa (Ybor City) for a concert, then went to Zitnik's Trains in Saint Petersburg today for the sidewalk sale. It was a great time. Spent too many $$$ as usual, but that is OK.
Still showing a bit of that "Wide Mohawk" hair from the concert Saturday Night. I need to shave that off for work before I go to bed. It is not very much of a Mohawk, only had about six weeks growing time. I just do not grow hair as fast now.
Stay safe!
Great work everyone. Nothing new on the BRVRR lately. Here is one from the past:
Santa Fe E-8A/B set at the head of our 9-car passenger consist, west bound on the BRVRR layout.
Keep the photos and ideas coming guys. Thanks to you WPF is always the best thread of the week.
Remember its your railroad

Good morning from cloudy, cool and rainy Northeast Ohio! It has been raining since Wednesday night!
Kevin, thanks for starting us out, good looking car.
Ed, thanks for the Erie pictures, I have some passenger cars to paint in the future, wanting to do the Powhatten Arrow, have the E&B Valley cars which are close to the cars used by the N&W.
Nothing new, moving next week, then have to start putting everything back and set up my work area for modeling.
My new Scaletrains C39-8's with a ore train on the Straongsville Model Railroad Club Layout.

Rule 1: This is my railroad.
Rule 2: I make the rules.
Rule 3: Illuminating discussion of prototype history, equipment and operating practices is always welcome, but in the event of visitor-perceived anacronisms, detail descrepancies or operating errors, consult RULE 1!
Thank You for setting up WPF again this week, Kevin!
Your "non-revenue" car would sure make a neat business car...
I managed to continue on more of my ERIE passenger car painting and lettering:

I just managed to grab one shot of one of them tonight. I was using a new light source and the colors sure came out wonky! A railroad club I once belonged to owned five of these Erie "Ten-Hundreds".
Onward to more great STUFF!
Cheers! Ed
Welcome to Weekend Photo Fun
NOVEMBER 2 - 4, 2018
All Are Welcome!
Here is an opportunity to showcase any recent project or layout progress.
Please feel free to post any model railroad related photos here — past or present. This is a place to share photos of your layout, equipment or current project.
It looks like I will receive the honor and duty of starting Weekend Photo Fun this week.
This is a new piece of passenger equipment that left the paint shop this week for the STRATTON & GILLETTE. It is joined by an RPO in the same paint scheme that I finished earlier in the week.
This is not a "revenue" car, but will be used in posed photographs on my 30 by 30 diorama I use for picture taking.
The model is an old Rivarossi heavyweight.
Argh! One of the trucks is not on the rails!
Please contribute your updates and images. This is the best thread of the week!
