Intermountain FP7 drive shaft & worm
Posted by SpringStreet on Monday, October 29, 2018 5:32 PM

I need to replace the drive shaft, u-joint and worm gear in an older Intermountain FP7. Right now Intermountain's website says they are not shipping non-warranty parts due to the China factory closure. Does anyone know whether some other company's parts will fit, or be easily adapted to fit? I probably can figure out some kind of drive shaft alternative, but I suspect the worm requirements might be more exacting. Thanks very much.

Take a look at what A-Line has to offer. I have used their universals and shafts on many Athearn "clone" drives.

Good Luck, Ed

Thanks very much for the A-line suggestion; that looks promising.
