On one of my trips to Horseshoe Curve I took a photograph of a Conrail SW1200 switcher on a manifest eastbound going past the observaton area. It was running since you could hear the difference in its sound from the big road switchers.
No pictures, but back in the '70s, I had a Rivarossi "Genoa" 4-4-0, and an AHM 4 wheel diesel switcher which was driven by 1 axle. It took the 2 of them to get a short train around my 4x8 sheet of plywood. Memories...
I was on the ferry coming back from Vancouver Island and came across a facebook page that was a group of British model railroaders that model North American roads.
It was Friday and they had a regular thread called "Friday's crazy lashups". There were photos of power lashups with models from North America, Europe and elsewhere. Some really gave me a chuckle including a maintenance speeder on point with a big boy behind followed by an English electric loco of some kind. That one was a video accompanied by stills.
I don't have anything you would call unusual to offer, but hoping that some of you do, let's give it a go.
This is the best I could do.
A BS 4-4-0 followed by two Atlas Trainmasters and a BLI 2-10-4
