Digital archives off line again?
Posted by edwardstd on Thursday, July 26, 2018 8:22 PM

When I click on any of the various links to go to the digital archives, I receive a page that says I should add it to my subscription. I went to the customer service page and verified that I already have access to the digital archives. What gives?

This happened a month or so ago and it took quite a while for the problem to be resolved. Same situation this time?

All Time Digital Archives - Problems Again?!
Posted by rgetty on Thursday, July 26, 2018 6:42 PM

For at least the forth time this year, I am having trouble accessing the paid service of the All Time Digital Archives. All I get when I go to http://mrr.trains.com/archiveaccess is the option to add it to my subscription - which I know has been paid.

Is anyone else having this problem?

I just tried, and no luck.  I thought it was all fixed, but I guess not.  I will not be renewing, as this happend too many times.

I don't use it that much anyway, only in the winter.

Same thing here and I could not access these Forums for two days either.  Every attempt generated an incomprehensible message from Discovery Magazine. It's nice that Kalmbach Media is saving so much money with all this out sourcing but we customers seem to be coming up with the short stick.

Sheesh... THIS is not the end of the world.

It is snot even the end of the line.

PATIENCE is a virtue

posess it if you can

seldom found on the subway

and never found on line.

Does Kalmbach Publishing have patience if you miss your renewal date by a day or two?

LOL

Oh I am sure that they will. It takes a long time and effort for them to figgure out that there is an issue. Your subscription has an end date, and after that the computer then drops your name form the lable list. They will not even know about it.

Now if you miss a payment on your VISA account that will come to their attention right away.

Count me in for having patience!

How long do you think we should wait before notifying them that they aren't delivering something that we have already paid for? I've got time...
