Turntable Help

In a Kalmbach publication entitled, "The Model Railroader's Guide to Locomotive Servicing Terminals" (pages 44 and 45) there is a brief mention of a manual turntable built by Bob Hayden which uses a stereo phono plug and jack to power the bridge rails. Anyone know how I might contact Bob? Anyone have additional info on that turntable? Was it written up in the model railroad press? I like the idea and would like to get diagrams or pictures. Thanks so much.
