Sounds like an old girl friend I had years ago that was helping me fix the tail lights on a trailer. I asked her if a turn signal was working when I turned it on and she answered- yes-no-yes-no-yes-no. Yeah, she was a blond!!!!

This will probably make you laugh or atleast chuckle. On chissie eve my mum wanted these lights on our tree to flash because they were made to flash but they weren't. So mum sent me over to the plug and told me to unplug it and plug it back in to see if that worked. Then she said take it out then plug it in then take it out then plug it in and......... you get the message, but the lights flashed. So now she calls me Flash. Call me Flash if you wan't but you don't have to.
