I've read the rules and I'm not seeing anything I'm about to pass along that violates them. If it does, I'll take my beating.
If you use Firefox, do a search for "Firefox Photobucket". On the Firefox website you will find an add-in that may be of particular interest to those of you who miss certain visual enhancements to many of the threads here (and other places as well) having been replaced by "the speedometer".
This is a legitimate add-in to Firefox provided on the company's web site, and like the browser, is free.
I don't use Chrome but a version is evidently available for it also.
I've used this for several months and don't see any issues or problems other than making sure you install any updates as they become available.
Atchee,
I took the liberty of changing the title of your thread to differentiate the Mozilla add-on from the photo-hosting site...

Time...It marches on...without ever turning around to see if anyone is even keeping in step.
It makes previously blocked Photobucket images, visible. Wonder how they do that? You can get apps to download Youtube videos for Firefox, but not for Chrome.
As a non member of Photobucket, I am still bombarded with pop up ads when I go to see a larger picture of what has been posted here.
Next time a newbie brings back a thread from 1999, I'll be able to see the pics.
