Although an old website for JMD Plastics & Hobby is still online (but not updated in a long time), their more recent website has been gone for at least a month (404 Page Not Found), after briefly showing a message about temporary closure due to health problems. Now their Facebook page seems to have disappeared also, and Walthers lists all of their products as "discontinued when sold out." Can anyone confirm whether they are or are not still in business? Thanks.
I found this with a quick search, it says they are open today until 1 pm.

EDIT: OK, I see what you mean, my bad
If you Google them, on the right side of the page, it shows their location and a phone number. Maybe give them a call, as the ad says they are open until 1 pm today.

The phone number on their website is a dead number. The 920 area code number found on the internet has a recorded message from the phone company saying you have reached a non working number. JMD is, or was, affiliated with the Motorcycle and Model Railroad Museum but their website is down as well.
I found this on a Google review of JMD Plastics:
JMD Plastics is now permanently closed. They took a break during the months of December and January due to health concerns on the part of the staff. Instead of reopening in late January they sent out a message saying they were ceasing operations. I think JMD Plastics had really high aspirations, and their prices on stuff were incredible, but in the end they couldn’t make it go.
Sigh. Another one bits the dust.

Too bad. Thanks for finding this information. I was tempted, at one point, to fork over the (tax deductible!) $250 to join their "dealer pricing for life" program. I'm glad I didn't--it looked like a good deal, but I wondered about the program's long term viability, and I don't buy enough to have earned the fee back in savings over just a few months. I also wonder what happened with regard to people who paid the fee to join that program late last year. They had a "sale" on the membership fee late in the year that probably brought in a fair number of members/customers.
The fee was tax deductible because it was counted as a donation to the affiliated motorcycle/model railroad museum, which was tax exempt. If I remember correctly from when I inquired, it was members or volunteers who actually ran the store and mail order business. So reselling at dealer cost incurred no labor cost, etc., and the $250 membership fees supported the museum. The business officially was the fundraising arm of the museum, from what I read. Overall, it seemed a bit like a creative variation on the idea of having one's own store so as to get dealer pricing and, in this case, donations to support the operation and income from retail sales that were not part of the dealer pricing program. But in this case it was a would-be museum of sorts that in turn had the store for fundraising.
The Feb 28 new products page on this website has a listing for plastic cements from JM products. A visit to their website has this message,
so at least in a limited sense they are reborn. I wonder if they will have a presence at the Green Bay model train show in April
"Welcome to JM Hobby Supply! We recently acquired the rights to the products manufactured by JMD Plastics and Hobby, a long time vendor in the model railroad and hobby industry. We are currently offering the products that were in the highest demand, with the goal of adding many of the other products in the near future.
