Heh - my friend, one way to start a fist fight at modeling meets or in freight car forums among prototype modelers is to casually toss around a word like "accurate" - viz "{sigh} We are still awaiting the first accurate model of a PS-1 boxcar (or EMD F7, or fill in the blank) in HO, aren't we?" Then the shouting begins. Then "Oh. You regard that foobie as 'accurate.' I see. OK. {sigh}." Then more shouting.
Anyway ... according to Overland Hobbies (see link below), nobody had previously done this particular car in plastic or brass in HO. Take that for what it is worth. I sure couldn't find another. And yes, ScaleTrains makes beautiful stuff. Those carbon black cars!

Scaletrains has recently released what I think is the first accurate 5188cf Gunderson Hopper in HO Scale. Has any other company released an accurate 5188?
