My HO layout has set for over a decade. Somebody (grandson?) dropped my Bachman Spectrum 85008 locomotive and bent the axle(s) on one of the trucks.
I looked and looked but I can't find the parts diagram for it.
Bachman's website doesn't even list my loco!
Any an all assistance will be greatly appreciated.
What is a Bachman Spectrum 85008 or 85009?
Have you asked in the proper Bachmann forum? The have forums for each scale with company reps. I have watched the forums for some years and a parts department with email and phone number in PA.
If you ever fall over in public, pick yourself up and say “sorry it’s been a while since I inhabited a body.” And just walk away.
From what I can find, you are referring to the older Spectrum HO scale 8-40C units, right? In either NS or CR paint, based on the two item numbers.
I know before the standard line GE U series used some of the same driveline parts, but am unsure if that would be one of them.
Perhaps a call to Bachmann Support would be the best thing in this case...

If it is the 8-40C you might find the parts on ebay. I just looked.

I have an old 8-40B, I bet the wheels sets are the same. The individual part for the wheels is H85003, and the complete truck is H85004. But not completely sure if the diagram Bachmann has on it's web site, is the same loco the OP has.
The axle has a white gear. Mine is not a spectrum, to my knowledge.
I was thinking that the wheel set might be the same as the wheels offered to fix Life Like's gear problem, but I'm not so sure.
Ebay doesn't have any wheel sets for this particular model, or trucks, but, they do have a few pages of them in the listings. There are a couple BIN's, one for $35, a couple for under $50, and few up for bids.
Hard to believe that a fall that would bend an axle, wouldn't damage other parts.
These must be the split axle's, maybe the axle didn't bend, maybe it just came loose from the gear, and looks bent, maybe the gear cracked, but the axel is good.
OK, I'll stop this rambling thinking out loud.
If the OP could show us a picture, and if they look like the axles I have, I can send him a couple. Mine is a parts loco anyway.

Possible the OP could check HO Seeker for a part number.
Here's what HOseeker has:

Bachman has what appears to be different, probably because it's newer, diagram.
