The BNSF colors are the old Northern Pacific Dark Green and the Great Northern Empire Orange. You can get these colors in either Polly Scale or Model Flex. By the way, look for a new scheme from BNSF in the future. The paint is not wearing well. Just after a year the orange fades to pink and the yellow turns white. It's an expensive scheme to apply for such little use.

It looks black on many photos, but is actually a dark green, very similar to the dark green used by the NP on the "North Coast Limited."

Can some tell me what the color of the heritage is. It is the dark color thats got me is it black?
