It would be even funnier when sung with a Norwegian accent.  For example ....

I did enjoy it! You have a really good sense of humor. I would have just skipped to the run over it with the car part. Thanks for sharing.

That's why it's stuck in the jar, it's that old.

Walthers Kit, a Jingle Bells Song Parody

So I'm assembling Walthers' Superior Paper kit and having a terrible time of it. While I'm doing that I'm listening to a parody of Jingle Bells called Rusty Chevrolet and I got an idea, I wrote my own little song parody. I hope you all get a good chuckle out of it and feel free to add verse or two.

Exacto knife blade smarts
I’m missing parts
Instruction sheet just blew away
Oh what fun it is to build this Walthers kit today!

The part's stuck to the sprue
And I’m running out of glue.
Trudge to the hobby shop, cursing all the way!
What I need I just don’t see
Oh they don’t have it, they can order it for me!

Exacto knife blade smarts
I’m missing parts
Instruction sheet just blew away
Oh what fun it is to build this Walthers kit today!

These parts are really small
Where the heck’s that missing wall?
Waste my time looking for it all day
Floquil paint stuck in the jar
Gonna run this stupid building over with the car!
