Todays project! I had a "kit" for a D.S.P & P reefer.Unfortunately the eBay seller had picked out almost all wood and most hardware....I found the original drawings online and built it from scratch! The only thing from the kit is the hinges, door lock and footsteps. The rest is wood, plasticard, Grandt line and some Tichy.

Whoopa!
Haven't had that happen to me when buying, but have had kits gifted to me that turned out to only be partials. Fortunately, the plans were included, so I can reconstruct easily. It was a generous gesture and enough full kits were included that Im sure it was a matter of looking at a box of sticks and just guessing wrong that it was all there. When you're talking kits that are 40, 50, or years older ad maybe passed through several hands, it's hard to keep track.
This is also a reminder that when buying kits online, try to get a pic of the contents, preferably still sealed in a factory plastic bag, but at least enough lumber to build what is on the label, as part of your due diligence research. Instructions are almost a must for the reasons noted above, you at least get a callout of what may be missing.
BTW, great job on finishing that reefer, an outstanding car!
