Steve Otte, I see that you had some "hammer time" with some of the posts in this thread, thank you for your concern, Rio Grande I am in no way offended by your suggestion and I want to let everyone know that I welcome and appreciate constructive criticism as long as it's delivered in a polite, kind, and possibly humorous fashion. Happy railroading!

If everything seems under control, you're not going fast enough!
I feel compelled to point out that unless the content of another user's signature violates Forum posting guidelines, its length is none of anyone else's business.
And discussing it in a public thread is off-topic. Posts have been removed.

I have that issue at home! Thank goodness because I can't see the archives on my phone or computer... (not fast enough Internet) That's the earliest issue I have I picked it up at an estate sale a few years ago...
Higgledy-Piggledy Backs, by John Nehrich...I remembered the author, but mistakenly thought that it was in RMC.
October 2001 issue of MR, page 74.

Anyone remember the article in MR a while ago on Higgedly Piggedly backs? For those un familiar with the term it's used to describe depression era housing that basically is a series of additions onto the back and sides of an existing building... I came across it in the archives a while ago but now I can't find it! Any help?
