For those that lament that good deals are not out there anymore, I picked up this little brass SW1 for $50, no marks or dirt on the wheels so I will say its unrun/new. I also picked up a new in the box Ulrich diecast Sierra RR combine passenger car kit for $20. Going to have the SW1 painted for Colorado Sweet Gold "The Kernel" and then find an NW2 from the same brand and do a fictional sister engine and put them to work on my agriculture based shortline like they were purchased from CSG when they torn down that industry. The little SW runs really well, will be even better once I put a can motor in it, along with working lights and working Prime 8911 beacon on the roof.
Silly NT's, I have Asperger's Syndrome
Yep, I picked up 6 new Red Caboose GS gondolas for $12.50 each which typically sell for $30 give or take at discount price. You definitely can find good deals at train shows.
Cheers, Jim (silly NT but my wife just calls me dafty)
Rio Grande. The Action Road - Focus 1977-1983
My two best finds to date are an unopened box of Walthers code 83 track for $35.00 and 250 high quality cows for $20.00. They usually charge you $20.00 just for 5 cows.

I'm just a dude with a bad back having a lot of fun with model trains, and finally building a layout!
Nice score, emdmike!
