Is the hopper car name your private road or is there a railroad down thereby that name. Jim

.

The STRATTON & GILLETTE is my private roadname. Enjoy the freight car! I hope it fits in with your era correctly. You officially own the only "modern" SGRR hopper car ever produced.

.

It was my pleasure to help out.

Sounds like you have a great layout. I too got tired of clubs 20+ years ago. The package will be in the mail tomorrow.

Enjoy!

I model the NS, CSX, takeover of Conrail, leaves me room to model all 3 railroads. My layout is about 1200 sq ft. I have been in the hobby for over 30 years and belonged to 3 clubs. I got tired of the cans and can't does of the clubs and decided to build my own club sized layout when we bought a new house with a 40 x 70 basement. I have used 13 boxes of Atlas code 83 track, 26 sheets of plywood and 10 sheets of homasote for my yard, which is 45 ft long and 16 tracks wide. Its all Digitrax Duplex for Dcc. My oldest son helps with the work when he gets a chance, most of it I have done. Its taken about 10 years to get where I am now with about 1/4 of the scenery done.Working on the engine facility now and a few more sidings for companies and the coal mine. We  can run 80 to 100 cars with 2 locos and a 1 1/2 % grades. Jim.

I have a complete shell, but the frame is shot.

I have a complete running frame and am looking to find a shell that will fit this frame, any other brands or shells without to many modifications? Thanks Jim.
