Here's a suggestion. How about changing the thread title to "November Is National Model Railroad Month - Any Plans?" or something to that effect?

It is a good question, just a better one with a little clarification.

I, personally, am not doing anything. I honestly had no idea there was a National Model Railroad Month, although it does not surprise me.

.

I checked the web site of the local club, and they do not seem to have anything planned.

Layout tour in the Niagara Peninsula area of southern Ontario on November 4th.  This one is in support of the HO Model Engineers Society (H.O.M.E.S.) in Hamilton, Ontario, and includes 22 layouts from Hamilton, Ancaster, Stoney Creek, Grimsby, Beamsville, South Pelham, West Lincoln, Fenwick, and Burlington.

Lots of nice layouts (I've attended regularly for perhaps 10 years), some of them well-known through exposure in both MR and RMC.
