W'sup. I thought I'd bring this back. Most of you know the deal. Showcase some new photos. Everyone is welcome to post. I especially would like to see pictures from Ray Breyer, Chuck Walsh, Andre Chapoleon, and Bob Stephens.
Here it goes.

Here this P2K Y3 crosses near my duck under portion of the layout. You can see that shirt hanging on my door.

This is one of the structures to be used once the scenery near the siding is complete. The weathering was done with concentrated water colors in tubes.

A bunch of natural fiber filter conifers, that cost only a few cents each to make, sit on a holding peice of foam for easy storage.

Aggro, can I ask how you make your trees, or can you point me to an article? I love your work!

Aggro, do you think you could explain how to make those trees? Cheap trees are always good in my book, and I need some soon.

Well, I got on early yesterday, so I missed it then, but here goes today. I got my new Wisconsin and Southern SD40-2's last week, and got them set up with a few of my WSOR covered hoppers, and my scratchbuilt Transfer caboose. Now, my layout isn't lit very well, and it was to cold to go outside, so I took them on the counter in my Kitchen(like you couldn't tell.)

I was hoping this weak cambra would capture how neat the trees look. Apparently it did.
I've seen articles where people used filter peices for structure in a tree. But none exactly how I do mine. I'll explain my total process once my mind organizes it .
Things you will need include:
-Natural fiber filter (20"x30"x1" sheet from Walmart, like $4)
-Thick bamboo skewers (Big Lots $1 for like 100+ sticks)
-Strong sissors
-Hair spray ($1)
-White glue
-Dark red-brown paint
-Various ground foams
-Dirty color acrylic wash
-An airbrush
