Add in the supertrees sage brush armatures And the results give you even a wider variety of trees   Some of which can be seen in the Snowshoe pictures posted in the galleries

I built a tree using Supertree limbs and a Woodland Scenics tree armature similar to the meathod Pelle Soeborg described in a recent article about "forground trees".

.

The tree looks wonderful, but it is a bit fragile.

I don't know about "best," but I like Supertrees from Scenic Express.

I'll second [Third! Ken beat me to second place] the vote for Supertrees. Once you get a little experience at finishing them they make a very nice looking tree at a reasonable cost Yes

Good Luck, Ed

I don't know about "best," but I like Supertrees from Scenic Express.  All of the large deciduous trees on my layout are made using the bulk Supertree material.  http://www.sceneryexpress.com/departments.asp?dept=1006
