Here is a picture of the joint. The layout 5' x 9', comprised of three 3' x 5' modules. The track ends butt together, and the modules are joined with a door hinge.
Thanks, BigDaddy, for the assist. That was easy!
This was progress through Saturday. Sunday I finished the industrial area, and worked on the engine house lead / yard on the left side. Mr. Mac came over and ran trains, for the first time, as well. A good time was had by all.
The way to deal with an Imgur image is as follows.
Assuming you have pics in an album, go to that album and put your cursor over the picture you want to share
At the top right will be a link with the word COPY next to it and to the right of that a downward pointing arrow, not really an arrow but the opposite of this ^
Click on the arrow and then click on get share links
Choose get BBCode(Forums) That would be us. Copy that code and post it directly here with Control V. Do not use the photo icon above, just post the code. No need to resize.
You will not see a preview of the pic but it should appear in your post

I'm not doing something right, I can link to my album in IMGUR, but I can't get a single picture here. I did resize them to under 1000 x 1000. As the guy said in the railroad cartoon years ago, "Nubbins!"
I am building, with much help from arjay1969, a sectional layout for a friend. I finally joined IMGUR, so I can share pictures of the process, which began in the summer of 2014. All construction occurs outdoors, so the weather has to cooperate.
