It's called a "Senior Moment"....
I have one in N scale. It was made by Gloor Craft. Neat model, and like you said, easy to assemble.
Chuck - Modeling in HO scale and anything narrow gauge
I'm familiar with Quality Crafts wood craftsman freight car kits from the 60s and 70s, but I don't think I've ever seen a 62 Chevy Delivery Van. As far as I know QC has been out of business for decades. I believe some of the kits were later offered buy Ye Old Huff and Puff, but I hear they closed their doors with in the last year. I know a UPS truck was offered, in fact I have one somewhere, but I can't remember who made it. I just looked and there is one on eBay right now. Just do an eBay search in the HO section for "chevy van". Wiseman model Services also has one listed at a reasonable Buy It Now price. I believe it is made with the old tooling.
Some will remember this kit, which if a recall correctly was offered in N, HO and O Scale.
A nice die cast kit, which was easy to assemble.
Have not seen it on the market for some years now.
Wonder if they may offer again in future?
