Can't speak for the paint but I've ordered his coal loads several times and had no issues. Also got some direct at his table when he was at Timonium one year.

I should have mentioned that it was Scalecoat I that I was using. I thinned it with lacquer thinner, as I have always done in the past, but found that it dried to the touch much quicker than when I had used it previously.

But, my closest local hobby shop, Metro Trains in Fort Myers, Florida, started carrying the Scalecoat 2 line of paints about a year ago. I was apprehensive because these are the "Post Weaver" paints. I am now satisfied that the paints are still just as good as ever.
I did not sense a change in drying time like Wayne did, but after I paint my models I put them underneath a box made from A/C filters to dry for two days, so I guess I would not notice.

I ordered about $200.00 worth of paint from them not long after they started producing their own version of Scalecoat paint.I payed using PayPal, and had the paint sent to a friend in Ohio. I picked it up some time later, and had no trouble whatsoever bringing it back into Canada. I was also pleased to learn that it's quite a bit faster-drying than what I used to get locally or from Weaver - I don't know if they've altered the formula or if I'm simply getting fresher paint.Here's my first paint job using the new stuff...
I ordered several jars of ScaleCoat from them. I called first to make sure what I wanted was in stock. Gentleman I spoke with knew exactly how many of each color he had. He accepted a credit card, and I think the items showed up about two days later.
I made two purchases from Minute-Man over the past year-and-a-half. Everything I ordered arrived in a timely fashion. I did use PayPal on both occasions and did not experience any problems.
I'm sure a credit card would work equally as well.

I am interested in buying Scalecoat II Railroad paints from owner Minute Man Scale Models. Has anyone ordered paints from the company and had excellent service from the company? How did you pay for the items? I see they take credit cards and pay pal. I want to pay through my creidt car, and do not want to pay using pay pal. had bad experience with pay pal years ago.
