caboose63 Was checking out Ye olde Huff n' Puff's website a few minutes, and there is a notice on it saying that the company is closed until further notice. was hoping to do some business with them, but since they are closed, will have to get a MKT wood caboose kit from somewhere else, like American Model Builders.

Ye Olde Huff & Puff has been sold to LaBelle Woodworking. The owner of Ye Olde Huff & Puff has gone on to that great Register Room in the sky. LaBelle will be resuming production on the Huff & Puff kits in either May or June of this year.AMB makes a nice kit, but considerably more expensive.
That's a shame as they have been around a long time. I had heard the owners were getting up there in years so maybe it's a health issue. I hope that's not the case.
On the other hand, depending on your standards and skills, I think the AMB Katy car will be a much nicer car for you. The YOHAP stuff was very crude and old method construction compared to AMB.
