Spare early Atlas gear, anyone?
Posted by Darth Santa Fe on Sunday, June 11, 2017 4:55 PM

I received an old Atlas FP7 for my birthday, and while cleaning and adding fresh grease to get it ready to run, there was a bind and two teeth broke clean off from one of the red 14 tooth idler gears.

Would anyone happen to have a spare gear? If so, I'd be happy to purchase it!  The same idler gears were used in all of the original 6 Atlas diesels made by Roco, so it doesn't have to be from an FP7 specifically.

I read on the Atlas forums that NWSL does have the gears You are seeking 14 tooth for Atlas/Roco FP7. I would drop them a line and find out:

Good Luck! Big Smile

Thanks!  If That Train Place doesn't have the gear, I'll check with NWSL.
