Hear, hear!  Starting in the hobby during the 1980s I relied upon the LHS, Kalmbach books and the local model R/R club for inspiration and knowledge, alas the LHS & club are long gone, but thankfully Kalmbach marches on while keeping in step with the times.

Thanks and regards,  Peter

I have to agree. I landed here back in January, and I am so glad I bothered to register and begin posting.

I would hate to thnk what my layout would look and be like without the information and help from the forum.

Thanks to the forum members and to Model Railroader.

I have experienced the "club like" feeling too and become saddened when I don't see members I remember posting any longer.

I'll 3rd or 4th that.  I am as well grateful for all the valuable information I have gained from this Forum.            My Mom used to have a saying.  "A little bit goes a long way is a good rule to live by, but it does not apply to showing appreciation or manners"

Right on!  I'll second (or third) that.

I was on a trip recently and was thinking about the various ways the Forum has been my first resource (there are other websites that, for me, tend to be more specialized that round things out).  So thanks as always to MR / Kalmbach as well as the many, very helpful and interesting contributions by all.

I just want to thank the people that post on this forum & to the creators of this forum for providing a place where others can share their ideas and comments. I consider it a club on line that we all belong to. Its great for people who dont belong to a club for one reason or another, for shut ins,for people to vent their problems with trains etc. Just wanted to say how much I enjoy this site & getting to converse with other modelers,Thanks.Big Smile
