Sir Madog

It´s a remake of the old MDC 2-8-0, but apparently with a number of omprovements - just take a look here!

I think the link you point to refers to an earlier release using MRC sound. The latest Athearn release uses a Soundtraxx Econami decoder. http://www.athearn.com/Products/Default.aspx?ProdID=ATH84924

It's really kind of hard to support your local hobby shop when the nearest hobby shop that's worth the name is a 150 mile roundtrip.

I see announced a RTR  consolidation.  Is this a new design, an old design such as Roundhouse?  Any idea what to expect on detail and running characteristics? How might these compare to the Bachmanns or BLIs?

Thanks for any insight.
