     Another good website for decals is Great Decals.com.  One of the suppliers listed is "Illinois Central Gulf decals by Daniel Kohlberg".  Dan Kohlberg offers a set of GATX decals for plain black tank cars of the 1949 vintage, made mainly to letter cars such as the Tangent acid tankers but will work well on any HO scale plain black tank car.

Tichy has recently expanded his line of decals, too;

Personally, I have not tried them but in general, Tichy is known for quality products.

I have a couple older silver sinclair tank cars that id like to strip down and paint a solid black and reletter them into a plain jane tank car who makes decals in ho scale for plane jane black tank cars during the 40s onward time frame?
