Hi
I am fairly new to the forum. But have been MRing for about 4yrs .I want to build a SDL39 form Athern blue box parts. Has anybody done this? If so what parts work for this project

i dont know a lot about the engine but i looked at some pictures. it might be a lot of modification to make the 3 axle trucks fit on a small frame.

The article that Paul was thinking of is in the September 2004 Model Railroader.
Also the September 1990 MR has a set of drawings and the Jan/Feb 1998 issue of Diesel Era has an article with a lot of detail photos.
