CGW121A test sorry it is not the weekend.
Cheers, the Bear.

I posted this on Facebook a while back and wanted to see if I could use a facebook picture here. A friend and I scratch built the trestle, engine is a Kato SD40 that I bought from a guy on facebook. I will do more work on this later, I would like a backdrop to extend the river.
A test sorry it is not the weekend.
This pair is still being worked on. I need to get the lighting finished and decoders installed. Yellow box Atlas/Kato units. The prototype sits in the WNY&P yard about a mile from my house. It was originally a D&H unit painted in the bicentennial scheme and was still in those colors when they purchased it from Tioga Valley Railroad.
Nothing but WIPs...
Just a little the staging yard for my layout.
Bear, Thanks, very glad indeed to be back on track after that humdinger of a flu bug.
SS Express, Thanks. Instead of competing eateries going for a Bait&liquor. Virgil's is a nearby bait/liquor shop and has been there for 35 years that I know of. Have always liked the cool fish sign hanging outside, so using it for inspiration.
Regards, Peter
Good stuff from everyone, this week. A pair of GP7s lead a WB freight through the yard.
Some nice looking work going on in this section. I know I can always find some inspiration in WPF..........
Peter....very nice looking seafood eatery. Maybe some shark steak on the menu??
Plenty of green going on in Don's Dream world. Let me know what the temp is there in PRR land so I can dream a little about getting my racecar ready for trip out to Maple Grove Raceway.........lol
Here is my contribution to WPF. I decided to send out the tank train to run the rust of the wheels. They been sitting in the siding too long......
Love all your photos.
It's a busy day in Don's Dream World

Rick, Thanks for the WPF start-up, nice work with the grabs and steps.
Back up to speed and back at the hobby bench.
Thanks to all and regards, Peter
This week I finished replacing the camera in the Boothbay Railway Village camera car which had failed. It transmits a real time track level image to a wall mounted flat screen. It is from MicroMark
I also completed the design of the central dispatch panel for the layout, and printed it out on photo paper. Shown here, it still needs the UV restistant clear coat, final trimming and assembly

Rick ... Your C&O 40' boc car and you SOU gon are great models.
Casey.... Speaking of great models, I must say your locotives are fantastic.
Mike L .... I like the little depot. The logging operation is remarkable,
Below is a shot of the Emprie Builder. You can see the coke oven to the left, and you can see the end of a branch line to the right. Most of my layout photos are closer up so you see one thing at a time.

Rick and RDG Casey,
Nice work there fellows!
Things have been pretty slow around here RR-wise, but have been picking at things here and there and grabbed a few shots...
In Rockwood, passengers waiting for that early train.
I'm looking forward to more "HO eyeball level" shots with a new tiny camera I have on order:
And the loggers are up early, too, at Camp 13.

Looks like I am first here, managed to get a couple of cars done!
Intermountain 1937 AAR 40' Boxcar Kit, substituted a Des Plaines Hobbies Viking Roof for the Kit Supplied Murphy Panel Roof. Used Yarmouth Model Works metal sill steps instead of the cast plastic sill steps. Painted car with Scalecoat II Boxcar Red and Black paints then decaled with Champ Decals.
Athearn 50' Gondola Kit (s/b 53'), removed the cast grabs and installed Tichy Wire Grabs along with A-Line Sill Steps. Painted with Scalecoat II Boxcar Red and lettered with Herald King Decals.
Thanks for looking!
